Born in London, Helen grew up Torino, Italy. Presently she lives in Paris and teaches Iyengar Yoga in France and abroad. Classes held in French and English.
Helen first studied Philosophy and Human Sciences at the University of Torino.
In 1984 she moved to Paris where she explored various forms of artistic expressions: ballet, African and contemporary dance, acting, video, fiction writing and photography.
In 1994 she moved to New York to study at the prestigious “International Center of Photography”. Until 2009 she worked as freelance photographer for the International press, and several humanitarian organizations. Her work has been published and exhibited internationally.
Helen first discovered yoga in 1980, in Torino and for a couple of years she studied Hatha Yoga, meditation and Kundalini. In 1999 she reconnect with yoga at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of New.
In 2003 Helen lived in Mumbai, India and intensively studied at Yoga Abhyasa under Iyengar yoga master Zubin Zarthoshtimanesh who continues to be her mentor.
Helen studied Advaita/Vedanta and attended “satsangs” with late master Ramesh Balsekar, a former disciple of Nisargadatta Maharaj.
In 2007, Helen relocated to Paris, France to work and study under senior Iyengar teachers Faeq and Corine Biria.
In 2011 she attended the first China-India Yoga Summit where she had the privilege to study under the direct guidance of Yogacharia Bks Iyengar.
In September 2012 Helen studied in Pune, India at Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute for one month intensive with the Iyengar family.
In 2013 Helen spent September and October to study directly with the Iyengar Family at at Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute, Pune India.
